Caffeine. When I was a new mom, getting up at all hours of the night, I started drinking coffee. Now, with digestive issues, I gave it up a few months ago. I still drink tea to get my caffeine, but the coffee-kick-in-the-butt is gone, and I really miss my cup of Java. There was comfort in that. I'm beginning to feel comfort in my tea, though, and the caffeine headaches are long gone. But, I will always feel a longing when I smell coffee, no matter how many thousand cups of tea I sip.
